    Key Eligibility Criteria

    To qualify for the Subclass 189 visa, you must:

    Have an occupation on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL): Your occupation must be listed on the MLTSSL. Obtain a positive skills assessment: You need a suitable skills assessment for your nominated occupation. Be under 45 years of age: Applicants must be aged between 18 and 44 inclusive. Demonstrate Competent English proficiency: You must have at least Competent English. Score at least 65 points on the points test: Points are awarded based on factors such as age, English language proficiency, skilled work experience, education, and other criteria. Meet health and character requirements: You and your family members included in the application must meet certain health and character requirements. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and receive an invitation to apply: You must lodge an EOI and be invited to apply.

    Applying from India
