Newfoundland and Labrador PNP: Immigration Pathway to Canada PR
Eligibility Criteria:
- Full-time job offer from an eligible employer in Newfoundland and Labrador for at least two years.
- Valid work permit with a minimum of four months remaining at the time of application, or eligibility to apply for one.
- Relevant qualifications, training, and experience for the job.
- Sufficient settlement funds to support yourself and any dependents.
- Intent to reside permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Additional Information:
- Temporary or short-term job offers (less than 12 months) are not eligible.
- The application fee is CAD $250.
- Processing time is approximately 25 business days.
- Active profile in the federal Express Entry system.
- Full-time job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer in a position classified under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
- Post-secondary education credentials.
- Minimum of 67 points on the NLPNP Points Assessment Grid.
- Sufficient settlement funds as per IRCC requirements.
- Intent to reside permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Benefits:
- Provincial nomination adds 600 points to your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, effectively guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in the next Express Entry draw.
- There is no application fee for this category.
3. International Graduate Category
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduated from an eligible post-secondary institution in Canada.
- Full-time job offer related to your field of study from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer.
- Valid Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
- Intent to reside permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age between 21 and 59 years.
- Minimum net worth of CAD $600,000, with CAD $200,000 available for investment.
- Minimum of two years' experience actively managing or owning a business in the last five years.
- Business plan to establish or purchase a business in Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Intent to reside permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador.

- Determine Eligibility: Assess which NLPNP stream aligns with your qualifications and circumstances.
- Prepare Documentation: Gather necessary documents, including job offers, educational credentials, language test results, and proof of funds.
- Submit Application: Apply through the NLPNP online portal.
- Await Decision: Processing times vary by stream; for example, the Skilled Worker Category typically processes in 25 business days.
- Apply for Permanent Residency: If nominated, submit your application for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
